Deck Installation

Basically the way of installation is same with Bulkhead transit, but SEALER sealant is applied only at the bottom side.
The total thickness of mixed Resin A and Resin B is 160 mm.

• 

  1. Clean the inside wall of transit thoroughly.
  
  2. After remove any dirt, grease or water from the inside of transit and surface of
     cables, put Spacer to keep the minimum distance of 4 mm between the cables and
     between cable and transit if necessary.

• 

  3. Put Sealer at bottom side with 20mm thickness.

• 

  4. When there are not many cables, working hours can be reduced by filling of
     bundles of Fillers bound by cable ties. Workability and efficiency will be enhanced
     by using of bundles of Fillers.

• 

  5. After mix resin A and Resin B sufficiently, pour the well mixed Resin from top
     side of transit, Filling of mixed Resin could be done in one time or 2~3 times.
  

• 

  6. Full curing time of the Resin A and Resin B takes approximately 10 days.

Additional cable Installation

• 

  1. Make a hole with 2~3 times bigger than the O.D of the cables to be ducted.

• 

  2. Apply Sealer at the both sides in case of horizontal transit, and make
     swallow’s nests at the top of the both ends

• 

  3. Pour the well mixed Resin A and Resin B into the swallow’s nests. Keep 4 mm of
     distance between cables or cable and transit.
  
  4. For vertical transit, apply Sealer at the bottom side and pour the mixed
     resin into the top of transit.

• 

  5. Curing time is approximately 4 hours, so keep the cables positioned by cable
     ties or cable bands right after the Resin is filled.
